The week of September 19, 2022, please begin clearing student advising flags for Spring 2023.(Fourth-hour sections for four-credit hour courses do not fall into this category.) Classes meeting one day a week Monday–Friday during prime time must be assigned to a departmentally owned space before registration begins. This includes single sections, seminars, and discussion or recitation portions of sections. Classes meeting one day a week cannot meet in campus-hosted classrooms M-F during prime time.Instructional Method (Note: Make sure online and distance education sections have the 02 Instructional Method).Before registration begins, please check the following to ensure accuracy: (These elements cannot be changed on SWASECT and require additional assistance once students have registered for a section.).This is helpful when adding new sections so that section numbers can be reused. Remember to review your timetable report to see if you have sections in cancelled status that can be activated.The modality of all sections, even those that rolled and require no changes, so we can assign the modality attributes.If a section does NOT need a classroom assignment.The departmentally owned classroom assignment or lab assignment.As you make changes to your sections, please let us know the following:.Departmentally owned space must be identified for sections with invalid or non-standard class times or the times of the sections need changed to valid times. Valid class times are required for a section to be assigned a campus-hosted classroom. Please pay close attention to any non-standard class times or lab sections that may still need adjustments.Priority registration will begin October 24.Beginning this date, if you are adding a new section or increasing the capacity of a section, you must consult the classroom availability reports and contact our office to determine whether a classroom is available beforeadding the section or making changes. The edit period will re-open October 10.Timetable edits and changes are not possible during this time frame.
